Dark fibre backbone for a telecommunications operator

A dedicated dark fibre connection linking an international network handover point with a metropolitan connectivity hub.

The project scope comprised three connected network segments, providing one dedicated fibre pair along the connection. Intermediate equipment accommodation and power were included to support the customer’s network infrastructure.

The contractual rollout followed two stages: an initial solution with a 90-day ready-for-service target, followed by a fully underground, in-duct solution within 12 months of initial service readiness.

Multi-site fibre connectivity and dedicated internet access

A combined network solution bringing together metropolitan dark fibre links and dedicated internet connectivity for a multi-site organisation.

The project scope included four dark fibre links: one with three fibre pairs and three with one pair each. Two dedicated optical internet services, each specified at 10 Gbps, complemented the fibre infrastructure.

The internet services included IPv4 address allocations and defined domestic and international bandwidth commitments. The contract specified a 99.5% availability commitment per service, subject to its measurement conditions and exclusions.
